Hello!
For those of you about to graduate and attend post-secondary, now is the time to start searching and applying for bursaries and scholarships! Many scholarship deadlines are fast approaching, so put the work in now, so you don’t miss out on FREE money! Here is an article that explains some common mistakes made on scholarship/bursary applications (click here). Some scholarships and bursaries require letters of recommendation; it would be wise of you to ask for letters of recommendation from the people you may need to ask as soon as possible (you know how long it takes you to write a nice document, so the adult(s) you may be asking will need time as well, especially if they have more than one to write!). For those who are not already aware, remember to check the Glendon Career Corner Website (cick here) where you can find a variety of information regarding life after high school, but also a good collection of places to find and apply for scholarships and bursaries. As always, if you have questions or concerns, don’t be afraid to reach out. I wish you luck in your application process!! Sincerely, Mr .Backer
